First prize for Lina Nakevska, student at the FVM-S, for oral presentation at International Conference in Zagreb, where she participated with two presentations

Lina Nakevska, student at the fifth year at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Skopje, participated at “7th International Congress Veterinary Science and Profession” in Zagreb, Croatia, in the period 5.10.2017 to 7.10.2017. The oral presentation entitled “Skin Cytology – Useful Diagnostic Tool for Cutaneous Lesion and Lumps” was announced the best oral presentation in the student session for small animals. This presentation was prepared and presented under mentorship of Full Prof. Igor Ulchar and Assoc. Prof. Irena Celeska from Department of Pathophysiology. Also, student Lina had a poster presentation entitled “Aggressive Dogs: Assessment and Treatment Considerations”, under mentorship of Full Prof. Vlatko Ilieski from Center for Animal Welfare.

This proves that the students at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Skopje can be internationally acknowledged and successfully overcome challenges in veterinary practice. Therefore, recognizing students’ intellectual capacity is very important for their international affirmation. So, encouraging all students for integration in the work of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Skopje will produce intellectual output of our work.
