Admission of patients (pets and exotic animals) for specialist examinations and treatments within the tertiary activity, prevention programs, advice for special nutrition of the animals.

Departments of the clinic:

Reception department, ambulance for examination, stationary, classroom for video presentations, laboratory, complete surgical department.

Reception Department – First contact with patients, initial patient assessment and recording of general information for the patient and owner.

Ambulance for examination – basic and specialist diagnostic procedures, sampling materials for special examination, protocol for treatment. Also in this department, specialist examinations are done, like ECG, ultrasound of the abdomen, chest and reproductive organs, other of analysis of biological material (urine specific gravity, hematogram, dermatological examination).

Stationary – separated into two parts. The first part is unit for intensive care where patients are under continuous surveillance, therapy, specially diet with nutritional supplements, hygiene, physiotherapy, dental procedures and ultrasound remove of plaque. The second part is department for ordinary or not hospitalized patients, for examination and therapy, and also for exercising with the students.

Laboratory Department – for hematology analyses, examination of urine and other biological materials. Appropriate laboratory equipment can be used for many analyses for better diagnosis of the animal and effective therapy.

Surgical Department – consisting of all necessary facilities (preparation of patients, presurgery part, surgery part) for complex surgery procedures that require highly specialized equipment. Inhaled anesthesia provides additional security for all surgery intervention.

Room for preparation and sterilization instruments – in this department instruments which are used for the animals, are prepared and sterilized.

Storeroom – adequate storage and keeping of the all supplies which are used in the clinic.
