{"id":8820,"date":"2019-11-29T14:47:00","date_gmt":"2019-11-29T13:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fvm.ukim.edu.mk\/?p=8820"},"modified":"2019-11-29T14:47:04","modified_gmt":"2019-11-29T13:47:04","slug":"educational-workshop-on-world-antibiotic-awareness2019-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fvm.ukim.edu.mk\/en\/educational-workshop-on-world-antibiotic-awareness2019-20\/","title":{"rendered":"Successfully held educational workshop on ,,World Antibiotic Awareness Week\u2019\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The IVSA \u2013 Skopje students organized an educational workshop on 18.11.2019 in honor of the ,,World Antibiotic Awareness Week\u2019\u2019 in collaboration with the Pharmacology professor \u2013 prof. d-r Romel Velev.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The professor opened the workshop and he gave the students a short introduction in the problems that occur with the antibiotic resistant bacteria and the animal and human health.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Then, our students held a presentation on the theme ,,Rational use of antibiotics in pets\u2019\u2019 divided in the following subjects:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Nada Cvetanovska &#8211; ,,Antimicrobial substances, their importance in veterinary medicine and the emergence of antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria\u2019\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>Elisaveta Lukanovska &#8211; ,,The use of antimicrobial substances in small animals and the outbreaks of zoonoses\u2019\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>Andrijana Toncevska &#8211; ,,Rulebook for rational use of antibiotics in small animals and creating a system for zoonotic prevention\u2019\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After the presentation Iva Tasevska, Jana Kjortoseva and Nadja Georgieva prepared a quiz for the other students with questions from the previous presentation.
